Anabel is an independent sports consultant specialising in marketing and PR, with a particular interest in sport and fitness for women and girls.
She was educated at Millfield Preparatory School (Lower Edgarley House) between 1979-1982 and Millfield (Oaklands House) from 1982-1987. In 2005, as a mature student, Anabel embarked upon an English and Creative Writing degree at Winchester University. She followed this in 2008 with an MA in Modern History at Royal Holloway University of London.
Her early career in commercial sport saw her establishing her own Sports PR and marketing agency, handling clients such as TaylorMade adidas Golf and the successful Wales Ryder Cup Bid in 2010. After selling this agency she took on the role of European Brand Communications Director at TaylorMade adidas.
More recently Anabel has been working as a Non-Executive Director for a portfolio of sporting organisations including The Sport and Recreation Alliance, Sport England and England Netball.
Anabel has been a Governor since 2004.
