AS and A2 Accounting
Accounting at Millfield is enjoyable, engaging and enlightening. Our pupils learn to appreciate the effects of economic, legal and technological change on accounting and its social implications.
Through its study pupils develop many skills including:

Entry Requirements
Whilst no prior knowledge of Accountancy is expected, numeracy is. Candidates with less than a B grade at Maths GCSE will probably struggle.
AS and A2 Accounting
These courses combine well with Business Studies or Economics. They develop a broad knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts and business principles.
From credit and debit techniques through to ratios, the AS Level gives pupils a keen understanding of accounting’s fundamental concepts. The A2 Level takes their knowledge further by focussing on the principles of management accounting and company accounts.
