Welcome to the Chemistry Department
At Millfield we’re passionate about Chemistry. We enthuse our pupils by encouraging them to be very ‘hands-on’ in their learning. Our purpose-built facilities, which include in and outdoor laboratories all focus on helping them to learn more about this ‘central science’.
Chemistry pupils develop mathematical problem-solving, analysis and evaluation skills and much more. Talents that open doors to Higher Education professions including Medicine, Veterinary Science, Dentistry, Chemical Engineering, Medical and Biological Sciences – even Business Management, Law and Finance.
