Trips
As a department we firmly believe in connecting our pupils with the real life applications of ICT and computing. Field trips are an excellent way of fostering this connection.
Our Sixth Form pupils recently attended an ICT conference in London. There they attended lectures from IT professionals about the use of IT in major organisations such as BSkyB, Easyjet and Tesco.
The feedback from our pupils was very positive and they all felt it was both extremely helpful and interesting.
