With tutors who have worked successfully in the world of commerce, economics at Millfield is challenging and contemporary. The enthusiasm staff have for the subject is infectious and our facilities exceptional.
This when combined with our blend of learning activities and teaching ensures that the department maintains the highest academic standards. In order to maintain continuity pupils are usually taught by one tutor for all of their lessons throughout the year.
Economics courses at Millfield
For many pupils, studying Economics is the foundation for successful high profile careers in Politics, Finance and International Business. Many of our pupils often go on to Economics-related courses at Oxford and Cambridge.

Over 120 Sixth Form pupils study Economics and/or Accounting to AS and A2-Level every year, making it one of our largest Sixth Form Departments.
