Japanese
Why study Japanese?
Are you looking for a stimulating and interesting course which is different from any European language to study? Then Japanese is for you. Japan is a fascinating country with a profound culture, leads the world in modern technology and has a key role in the international economic market even in the current unstable economic situation. If you are thinking about a job in an important international company such as Sony, Honda, Canon, Panasonic, Suzuki, Matsuda (you name it!), Japanese is for you. In the field of modern technology, such as robots, rail transport (bullet trains) and animation, Japanese companies have cutting edge expertise. Japanese is also one of the United Nations' working languages, so if you are considering a job in diplomacy or an international organisation, Japanese is for you.
If you're still not convinced then perhaps our exchange programme to Japan will persuade you. Alternatively, you might just like to watch this slide show.
