AS Law is not available as an option in 2011/12; but pupils who completed the AS Law course during the 2010/11 academic year will be allowed to continue A2 Law in 2011/12 (dependent upon AS grade achieved). It provides a fascinating insight and introduction to the subject. Well resourced and combining exceptional teaching team with ‘field trips’ to courts, the course provides a ready taster for students considering a career in the Legal services. However, it is not essential for studying the subject at University.
A2-Level Law
This course examines Criminal Law in detail and includes essay and problem questions. There is also a synoptic open source module. In this, students discuss specified issues, drawing on their knowledge of the whole course.
