Welcome to the Physics Department
At Millfield we believe Physics is the science of Nature. The science of matter and energy and their resultant interactions. We encourage our pupils to throw themselves into this fascinating subject.
Our approach maximises their enjoyment of the subject whilst simultaneously advancing knowledge.
With eight full-time teaching staff, two full-time technicians and a purpose built building; Physics is truly embraced at Millfield. The department also features a Sixth Form common room. Here AS-Level and A2-Level pupils can study, chat and read journals and newspapers.

All pupils study Physics as part of the Science GCSE and have the option to study it as a stand alone GCSE.
