The Millfield Biology Department is located in a purpose-built building consisting of 11 teaching laboratories, 2 preparation rooms, 4 greenhouses and a computer suite consisting of 16 networked PC stations with access to the Internet. The Department is very well equipped and there is a great emphasis placed on practical work. There are 13 full time teaching staff who have a wide variety of specialisms and experience. They are based in dedicated labs which include a suite of PCs which are pooled to provide all pupils with a wide variety of resources.
