Art, Design & Technology

We offer all our pupils opportunities to explore their creative side. We have invested in some of the very latest facilities, housed in our purpose-built Fine Arts Centre and Design & Technology Centre. Pupils who opt to take any of the courses on offer have access to outstanding resources seldom seen outside a university.

Drama

The Drama Department is committed to producing pupils who are well trained in using their voice and physicality to communicate successfully. It is run by two full-time specialists, three part-time teachers, an Actor/Director-in-Residence, a Gap-Year Teacher and a professional Theatre Manager and we frequently bring in outside practitioners who offer workshops and further expertise

Music

Millfield has a proud tradition of music-making and provides an extensive range of opportunities for our pupils to express themselves musically. Currently, we have over thirty ensembles that perform in more than forty major concerts per year. These range from solo recitals to large-scale orchestral concerts; from chamber music concerts to stage musicals and pop gigs.
