Millfield

On Monday 18th June, the School was visited by the New Zealand Under 20 Rugby team. During its visit the team played the 1st team in a game of touch rugby. Millfield came close to scoring against New Zealand but in the end the All Blacks were too fast and showed superior strength – the final score was 25-0 to New Zealand. After the game, the New Zealand side performed the Haka. The game was watched by around four hundred pupils and teachers. Once the crowd had left, the New Zealand team moved on to do a full training session in preparation for the IRB Junior World Cup Final, which it went on to win.
