Following auditions held for around 4,000 budding actors at 15 different venues across the country, eight pupils from Millfield School have made it into the final 700 of the National Youth Theatre (NYT). Their training will begin in the summer on a production to which they will be individually cast. Two other Millfield pupils successfully auditioned last year and will continue their involvement this year. Local pupil Bethan Forsey (aged 17 from Butleigh) successfully auditioned for the National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT) while NYT member Adam Jones (aged 18 from Cheltenham) has been awarded a place on the three year Acting course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
