Despite another solid performance from the captain (as well as some excellent captaincy) Stanbrook-Tompkins put in an excellent performance with the bat after the early dismissal of Harvey, and against some very good bowling. Harvey survived the first few balls of the game with one unusually passing between the stumps without knocking the bails off.

Despite a valiant bash by the last minute, press-ganged Lovell (27 not out off 20 balls), Millfield only managed 145-7.
