Development
Development's role is to advance the aims and ethos of Millfield by strengthening the tie between the school and its former pupils and parents. Through a variety of activities - including career networking, reunions, regional events, projects and fundraising - the office, in conjunction with the OMs, provides former pupils with opportunities to give back to Millfield and to reconnect with each other.
The aims of the Development Office are:
- To promote and create a more supportive school community
- To build a culture of giving where there is regular financial support, providing the means by which the school can:
- Maintain the school's high standards by enhancing and developing its facilities
- Maintain the 'Millfield Mix' by broadening pupil access through the provision of more scholarships and bursaries
The recent Campus Master Plan provides a blueprint for future development of the Preparatory and Senior campuses over the next 10-20 years.
The OM Society and Development Office enjoy common goals and are working in cooperation.
