As a ‘Country House', St Anne's is just eight minutes drive from Millfield, located in the lively Somerset village of Baltonsborough. St Anne's was a former manor house and also housed a nunnery school for a Christian order of Oxford Nuns. The old Chapel can still be seen, as can the wells in the floor which can be seen in the entrance hall. The House was bought by Millfield in 1963.

The ‘New Block' was added in 2000 with further updates including a new gym, computer room and TV room. Other facilities include Senior and Junior common rooms, a computer room, a games room and two fitness rooms with multi-gyms, an indoor rower, stationary bike and cross-trainer. Outdoors there is a floodlit hard-court for basketball, tennis and 5 a-side footy, a top field with two full sized soccer goals for more serious contests; a golf driving net and a BBQ garden where we have a volleyball net in the summer.

The staff ensure that every Campus priviledge is catered for - so the boys miss out on nothing. Add to that the fact that St Anne's boys get to "leave school at the end of the day to go home", Joe Knight describes St Anne's as unique, with true passion and character running through every member of the House.

Joe Knight and his wife Feisa (Fizz) have been houseparents for two years at St Anne's. Joe was Assistant Houseparent at Orchards for 9 years. Joe has been at Millfield for 11 years and teaches in the Maths department. He is also a basketball and athletics coach. Prior to joining Millfield Joe taught Maths at Kuwait English School, Kuwait. Fizz is a doctor.

Away from Millfield, Joe Knight and Fizz enjoy walking Woody, their Jack Russell, sport and travel.
