Keen's Elm, in the heart of the Senior School campus, opened as an entirely new building in the early 1980s and was originally two houses - Butleigh and Keen's Elm. In 2000 Butleigh moved out and the house became solely Keen's Elm, increasing numbers to 60 pupils. The House is named after the field which it was built on, Keen's Elm field. According to houseparent Christopher Page, one of the House's most unique features is its design, with a fabulous enclosed ‘inner' courtyard.

Keen's Elm has always been a Boys' House and recently has increased its staff to include two resident assistant houseparents and one non resident assistant. There is a separate games room with table tennis, pool and table football. There are three common rooms - junior, senior and one for visitors. Outside is a large, hard play area with basketball nets and an enclosed courtyard for BBQ and quiet activities.

Christopher Page and his wife, Kathy, have been houseparents at Millfield for 25 years. Chris is a graduate Medical Biochemist and prior to joining Millfield, taught at Skinners School, Tunbridge Wells. Kathy is a graduate dietician but prior to becoming a houseparent worked for a bank.

The couple have two children - Nick and Sarah, who both attended Millfield. Nick is now working in London and Sarah studying at university. Aside from looking after 60 boys, the Page's include their interests as family, all sports and travel.
