28 Millfield athletes represented Somerset at the South West Schools Championships at Exeter, and from this, 12 were selected to go forward to the English Schools Championships in Sheffield; we had two athletes, Kitty Eleyae and Grant McConnell who qualified for the national championships in two events each. The Millfield performances at this meeting were of the highest order, and the school was rewarded with some excellent results:
