Millfield arranges an array of tournaments and fixtures to challenge pupils, to grant them the chance for success and satisfaction.
We host the Wessex Mega-Final stage of the UK Chess Challenge and the prestigious Millfield International, which has the premier school teams from across Britain and Ireland competing. The School also hosts the National Junior Squad Young Masters, which sees International youth players from across Europe competing. In addition, the School hosted its second one adult rapidplay event, which gave pupils the opportunity to compete against International Masters from the USA and Latvia.
