Achievements
Millfield has performed consistantly well over the years, and the success we've enjoyed in tournaments and fixtures is testament to the high standard of our teams. Below are examples of some of our pupils' more recent achievements.
The XI and U15a teams play in three National Competitions. The XI exited the School’s 20/20 Competition at the quarter final stage, but the 15’s won the Regional Competition and were due to travel to Headingley in September of last year, but unfortunately the final was cancelled. A decent run in the Lord’s Taverners saw the 15’s eventually go out to Portsmouth Grammar School, once again at the quarter final stage. The Under 14’s won the County Cup and will represent Somerset in this competition in 2009.
In 2008 there were 15 Old Millfieldians playing First Class Cricket. The cricket club continues to try and provide an environment for players of all abilities to flourish.
