Who can take part?
With over 140 boys playing, it is clear that football is becoming one of our strongest sports at Millfield. Full time footballers enjoy a busy schedule, playing school teams from all over England. A total of 12 teams ensure that every pupil has the opportunity to play in competitive matches and tournaments.
In addition, our excellent facilities and qualified coaches ensure that every pupil has the means to maximise his skill and fufil his potential.
What's involved?
Pupils compete in an array of competitions and tournaments, interspersed with numerous friendly games. These allow pupils the chance to put all the training and advice from our expert coaches (including former South African international Terry Akhurst) into practice.
Alongside national fixtures Millfield also arranges a number of international tours, such as to Holland, Russia, Florida, South Africa and Barcelona.
