Achievements
This year’s U14 team have been a really exciting, talented group. The strength and depth in this age group allowed us to arrange fixtures for 4 teams. The ‘A’ team won the majority of their matches. They were county champions and also won the U15 County Cup by beating the Millfield U15 team in the final.
The U16s have been particularly successful, remaining undefeated throughout the whole of the 08-09 season and winning four trophies: County Champions, South West Champions, La Manga Tour Winners and Bath League Tournament Winners.
The senior teams have played many matches against strong school, college, university and adult teams and proved their talents on many occasions. They were runners up at the County tournament and played well at the Regional tournament to finish third in their group.
The U14s and U16s qualified for the 2009 National Schools Finals and the U14s reached the semi-final but unfortunately were unsuccessful and placed fourth overall. The U16s came third in their group and placed fifth overall.
Seven girls have been involved in Netball South West Talent and Performance programme and thirteen in the county academy.
