Riding for Everyone
Riding at Millfield falls into three main categories:
Full Time Riders – This is for pupils who have a horse at livery at the Stables, or have a Millfield horse on half loan.
Sessional Riders – This is for Millfield pupils who wish to take riding lessons throughout the term. Although previous riding experience is not necessary it is an advantage.
MAP – Riding is one of many different MAP’s for all Millfield pupils and is a taster session for a particular sport.
Livery - If a pupil wishes to bring their own horse/pony to school please contact the Stables office on 01458 444205 or email email@example.com. Full time riders are expected to exercise their horse at least once a day. Please see below for our BHS approval rating certificate.
Lessons – Lessons are available at 7am, lunchtime and after school. Sixth formers may wish to use their study period.
