29th Glastonbury Road Run
In total 400 Millfield students and 20 staff participated in this year's run. The total number of paid entries was 827 from the school, which has raised approx. £5800 for the Road Run committee. Much of this is given as charity to local causes. Mrs Gabb organized the t-shirts for our runners this year, which also raised money for our schools charities.
Even though the weather was cold and damp, and numbers of students actually running was low, all participants had a great time;
• Miles Van Den Berg came 4th overall in the 3k in 11.40
• Will Radford came 7th in the 5k in 19.15, followed closely by Chester Allen.
• Arthur Lanigan-O'Keefe came 11th in the 10k with an astonishing time of 35.54, followed closely my Mr Brown (staff) in 40.45
Lots of students dressed in fancy dress for the occasion, with several three legged athletes and even a toilet (Andy Savil).
