Millfield’s Sculptor in Residence
The Millfield’s sculptor in residence project is an annual competition for entries from artists across the UK and Europe.
The sculptor in Residence works at Millfield for six to eight weeks and the piece of work remains at Millfield and becomes part of our extensive sculpture park. The sculptor joins the Millfield community and students and staff can discuss the work and other issues in the world of Art.

Richard Jack, originally from South Africa produced a mild steel ten foot sculpture of four figures – a ‘family’. This construction echoed a nod towards Cubism and a return to the human figure. See this edition outside the entrance to the school reception.
