ART
FAC Foyer – This contemporary design reflects the forward looking attitude of the Art faculty and is a very well equipped facility.
FAC Drawing Studios – A typical north facing drawing studio enjoying wonderful light as the students work on their projects.
FAC 3D Studio – One of two studios for pupils to work on their three dimensional studies.
FAC Gallery Foyer – A superb area of the Fine Arts Centre leading into the Atkinson Gallery itself. Bathed in light through the glass roof above this a perfect area to view work.
FAC Printing Studio – This well equipped Printmaking area has all the 21st century technology and presses to allow sophisticated printmaking to be produced by our pupils.
FAC Photography Studio – This is the daylight area of one of the two darkrooms in the faculty of Art & Design. There are also two other photographic studios with PCs and Adobe Photoshop software.
Atkinson Gallery – A marvellous large, spacious gallery for showing contemporary works of art through the school’s exhibitions programme. It also shows work from the pupils especially in the Summer term.
FAC Exterior view of the Fine Arts centre with one of the twentyseven large scale sculptures looming large in front of it. This constitutes the beginning of Millfield’s 50 acre sculpture Park.
