Astroturfs
There are two co-located water based Astroturf Hockey Pitches built to full international standards with floodlighting. Adjacent and overlooking the pitches is a pavilion with changing facilities and a spectator balcony.
There is an additional water based Astroturf Hockey Pitch with floodlighting in the centre of the campus. This pitch has a hard standing suitable for the temporary erection of grandstands. In the summer this Astroturf Hockey Pitch is configured for eight tennis courts.
Athletics Track
The Athletics Arena is built to AAA standards including an all weather 400 metre, six lane Tartan track with a 100 metre eight lane sprint track. Steeplechase facilities, including a water jump are included. There are two high jump fans, javelin throwing area, large discus and hammer throwing area (with safety cage), discus throwing area for training (with safety cage), two shot putt throwing areas, double long-jump area with pits at both ends, including a triple jump, and single long-jump area (with a pit at one end and pole vault at the other end). Floodlighting is to national standards. The track has a 6mm spike specification.
Cricket Pitches
There are numerous cricket squares, indoor and outdoor (all weather) nets, bowling machine and several cricket pavilions including the Wilson Pavilion.
Dance Studio
An octagonal dance studio with mirrors, sprung floor and an integral music system is situated on the north side of the campus.
Equestrian Centre
The Equestrian Centre is comprised of indoor and outdoor arenas, BSJA standard show jumps, modern American-style barns, stables, cross country course, all weather horse walker, solarium. The School’s polo pitches are located at Kingweston (the School’s off campus sports complex).
Fencing Salle
The purpose-built Fencing Salle forms part of the Tennis Hall Sports Complex and contains ten training pistes each served with full electronic data recording equipment. There is a small viewing balcony.
Golf Facilities
Pitch n’ Putt, two putting greens, 350 metre driving range, all weather Astroturf putting green and golf academy (with full video analysis facilities) form the School’s golf facilities.
Martial Arts Dojo
The purpose built Martial Arts Dojo forms part of the Tennis Hall Sports Complex and adjoins the Fencing Salle. It is fully equipped with mats.
Sports Halls
The Barracuda Sports Hall is a multi-purpose Sports Hall with a Uniturf surface. It is used for a variety of sports including tennis, badminton, (five courts), netball, basketball training (four practice hoops), pole vaulting, trampolining and cricket (nets with three wickets).
The main Jubilee Hall has an air sprung wooden laminated floor and is used for a variety of sports, including indoor hockey, indoor football, basketball, netball and volleyball. The Fitness Suite, on the first floor, comprises fourteen Sportesse Resistance Training Stations. To complement the resistance machines there is a variety of cardiovascular equipment including brand leading names such as Concept II and Powerjog. An integral part of the suite is the Stretch Area along with a small Free Weight area to allow muscle groups to be warmed up in a controlled manner.
Squash Courts
The School has four glass backed squash courts with umpire’s chairs and tiered spectator facilities and two further courts overlooked from a balcony.
Swimming Pool
The Olympic standard Swimming Pool is built to FINA/AASA standards.
The 50 metre pool has eight lanes with a 1.8 metre constant depth. The pool has full water polo facilities to European standards. In addition there is a 13 metre by 7 metre Swim-Down Pool with a constant depth of 1 metres.
Tennis Facilities
The Indoor Tennis Hall forms part of a Sports Complex which includes the Squash Courts, Martial Arts Dojo, Fencing Salle, Classrooms and ISO Lateral Training Room.
The Tennis Hall has a cushioned acrylic surface with three permanently marked tennis courts.
There is also several outdoor tennis courts.
Other Facilities
Other facilities include an archery range, a climbing wall, an orienteering course, playing fields and hardcourts.
