Each event offers the opportunity to gain a meaningful insight into our academic, sporting, pastoral and co-curricular life. You’ll meet the people, explore the spaces, and uncover the values that make Millfield distinctively different from other schools.

Our Individual Visits offer a personalised and in-depth introduction to Millfield, providing a fuller insight into our community and the exceptional surroundings that shape daily life here. These visits are ideal for families who would like a tailored experience and the opportunity to explore specific areas of interest in greater detail.

You will be welcomed by our friendly Admissions Team before enjoying a guided tour of the school. Your visit will include dedicated time to explore a boarding or day house and, where arranged, the chance to meet key members of staff. Refreshments are provided, allowing you to relax and make the most of your time with us.

Please note that availability for individual visits can be limited. Priority is given to families seeking entry within the next two years, to ensure they receive the support they need at this important stage of decision-making.

Our Saturday Campus Tours offer a relaxed and personal introduction to life at Millfield. Designed for families who are exploring schools two or more years ahead of entry, these visits provide an ideal opportunity to experience our campus and facilities at a quieter moment in the school week.

During your tour, you will be shown around by one of our knowledgeable students who can answer questions, share insights into daily life at Millfield, and help you begin to picture how your own child could thrive here. While less structured than our Open Days, these visits still offer a comprehensive overview of the school, from academic spaces and boarding houses to our outstanding sports and arts facilities.

Saturday morning tours are perfect for families who need greater flexibility or who prefer to visit outside of our scheduled Open Days. They provide the chance to get a genuine feel for the school environment while taking the time you need to consider whether Millfield could be the right fit.
