I chose to come to Millfield because they provide fantastic facilities for musicians. I enjoy playing the Steinway & Sons Grand Piano in the Johnson Hall. I have lots of opportunities to perform on stage and have full support from the Director of Music and all the music teachers. I am so glad that I am able to practise piano, violin and singing with great teachers. Millfield is different from any other school because they treat everyone differently, in a good way. Whether you are sporty, academic or passionate about the arts, Millfield will gladly support you pursue your dreams.
"The way Millfield teach us music and academics is really fun."
In 2025 I won the junior vocal classical category, diploma keyboard category and overall Millfield Musician of the Year.
Outside of school I won both piano categories at Taunton Festival of the Arts, placed second at the Vienna International Classical Piano competition and came third in the Arnold Rosé Vienna International Violin Competition. I also advanced into the second round of the EPTA UK National Piano Competition and the final round of the second International Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Kronberg, Germany.
This year I am working towards my LTCL Level 6 Diploma for both Piano and Violin Recital, and Music Theory diplomas Level 4 (AMusTCL) from Trinity College London this summer, as well as my Grade 8 singing exam.
As well as academic lessons and music, I am doing ballet as my sport and am taking the RAD Ballet Intermediate exam this spring.
Besides music, my favourite subject is maths. I enjoy doing maths because there are lots of challenges, it always triggers my mind and I feel good whenever I have found the solutions.
I love performing and being on the stage as a soloist and playing with the orchestra. I hope someday that I will have the opportunity to study at one of the prestigious institutes of music that I have always dreamed of.
" Millfield will gladly support you pursue your dreams."
