Lower Sixth (joined Millfield in Pre-Prep)

I joined Millfield Pre-Prep for my brother who has always been fully centred around sport. Yet, since I joined, I have found myself immersed in everything Millfield has to offer, not just in a sporting sense but in so many other aspects. The school helps you to develop a skillset to prepare young people for life.

One reason I think Millfield is different to other schools is because of the quality and diversity of everything they offer here.

There's such a wide range of unique sports, volunteering opportunities, creative endeavours, outdoor adventures and academic excursions.

My favourite things about Millfield are the bright, spacious art classrooms I get to work in, equipped with a huge range of supplies and technology which allows me to explore new techniques and expand my creative horizons. This, along with all the fun things we get to do with our friends like Lower Sixth camp, socials and events, are the things I enjoy most.

I have been part of many different sporting teams during my journey through Millfield. I've taken part in hockey, netball, athletics, tennis, dance, football and more, whether that be for competitions, house events or fun, there's certainly something for everyone.

My advice to someone thinking about joining Millfield is to really engage with the opportunities and not be overwhelmed by the cascade of possibilities presented to you.
