I chose Millfield because it had lots of sports to try out and to help focus on my academics. My favourite thing about Millfield is how many different sports you can do.

I like the cricket programme at Millfield because there are many opportunities for me to practice and there are a variety of different skills sessions available at lunchtimes and after school. In addition to this, there are specific tailored sessions, which are called individual development programme sessions (IDP). As well as cricket I have taken part in hockey, football and basketball. My hopes for the future has to be to become a professional cricket player.

My favourite memory from Year 8 at Millfield Prep School was taking back-to-back hat-tricks on consecutive days. In the National Cup, I took six wickets for just two runs, including a hat-trick. The very next day, on Thursday, I claimed five wickets for 22 runs featuring another hat-trick.

I receive a lot of support from my teachers, especially when it comes to catching up on lessons I miss due to cricket matches. I really enjoy maths because it’s fun and I like working with numbers.

At Millfield, everyone supports you along your journey really well. There are lots of new sports you can try out, and when you’re learning you get smart really quickly.
