The Johnson Scholarship Fund
“Being Head of Millfield was the most rewarding time of my professional life and I regard it as a great privilege to lead a campaign to establish a Johnson Scholarship Fund. My aim is to involve members of the Millfield community who would be willing to give, to change the lives of deserving students who could not come to Millfield without substantial financial support. I know that any contributions will be hugely appreciated by the many young people who will benefit in the coming years.”

We are raising funds to support a Sixth Form academic scholar with other talents (music, art or sport) who will give as much to the school community as possible. Please use the links to make a single donation or set up a direct debit to support The Johnson Scholarship Fund.
“Millfield not only propelled me forward to think and act globally, it gave me a home. Even though I was a day pupil and traveling 60 miles every day to Millfield, the School gave me purpose, a platform. It also, has given my parents much joy in seeing my career flourish. There is no question that people like Mr Johnson and many others had a wonderful influence on my life at such a tender age. If I could bleed Millfield blue, I would. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my start at Millfield School. The Peter Johnson Scholarship Fund will make a difference to future generations for decades to come.”

“During my 20 years at Millfield, I was privileged to witness the positive impact of the Millfield Mix. Students from all backgrounds and countries sharing life experiences at the school and forming life-long friendships. I have become an Ambassador for the Peter Johnson Scholarship Fund to encourage support for more children to attend Millfield, whatever their financial background. We have a unique opportunity to dramatically transform lives and I very much hope that you will join us and get involved."
