OM of the Year
The OM of the Year Award was instituted in 2000 to celebrate the achievements of OMs in a wide range of fields in the UK and worldwide.
Our list of OMs of the Year is long and impressive. We have honoured OMs across a wide range of professions and achievements, including authors, international sportsmen and Olympic champions, media personalities, West End theatre and film directors, gardeners, musicians, national and industrial leaders, politicians, entrepreneurs, pioneering doctors and charity and humanitarian workers, from all over the world.
Our annual OM of the Year ceremony is an event that we look forward to as an opportunity to congratulate the successes of our wonderful alumni.
OM of the Year 2023
On Friday 19 June, we hosted our second Millfield Brilliance Dinner. The event celebrated the finale of Giving Day, as well as the OM of the Year and Sports Personality Awards. And this year, we are proud to introduce to you our next four winners, who have been awarded for their outstanding efforts in their respective fields; James Hildreth, Stephen Batchelor, Surgeon Captain Kate Prior Royal Navy and Rob Wade.
The evening was presented by OM and former OMotY winner, Ed Jackson. The event brought together the wider Millfield community for a unique evening of entertainment and celebration.

On the night, we also celebrated the end of our Giving Day, where we announced our total of £125,385. A thank you to all who contributed to this year's event, it will make a significant impact and will increase the opportunities for children to receive a Millfield education.
