A Celebration of Vocal and Choral Music: Spring Concert 2025
Over 200 talented pupils took to the stage to showcase their musical abilities in the highly anticipated annual spring concert, "A Celebration of Vocal and Choral Music." The event featured an impressive seven ensembles, each delivering outstanding performances that captivated the audience.
The concert opened with a delightful performance from the Year 2 strings, who have been diligently learning the violin and cello throughout the term. For many, it was their first time performing, yet they showed remarkable confidence and skill, setting the tone for a wonderful evening.
Following this, the Year 6 ukulele ensemble took centre stage. Throughout the year, they have honed their skills in both singing and playing the ukulele, a remarkable achievement.
Next came the much-anticipated choral performances, featuring a range of choirs, including the Tour Choir, Young Voices, Junior Choir, Edgarley Ensemble, and the Chamber and Senior Choirs. The diverse repertoire spanned jazz, pop, rock, and musical theatre.
A heartfelt thank you to all the pupils who participated and performed with such dedication and excellence. Thank you to the supportive families and friends who attended, making the event even more special. A special mention to the soloists, whose magnificent performances added an extra touch of brilliance to the evening.
