Millfield filmmakers celebrated during online Media Awards
Lockdown has not quelled the Millfield spirit, with the annual celebration of our Upper Sixth Media students’ fabulous work hosted virtually at the end of June as part of a YouTube premiere. The virtual Oscars was hosted by Upper Sixth students Charlie P and Charlie K and included all of the elements that Media students have been known to love, including farewell messages from the teaching staff.
Winners included Best Individual Effort to Upper Sixth Lewis, Best Group Effort to Upper Sixth students Evie and Sophie. Outstanding digital design skills were celebrated too, with Upper Sixth Kim winning Best Portfolio and Upper Sixth Charlie with Best Website. Upper Sixth Will Drew was given the accolade of Best Digipak design. Upper Sixth students Jen and Joe won the Best Music Video award.
