Millfield Netballer double signing for Swiss National Team and Team Bath

Millfield Netballer Olivia Ralph has been selected for the U19 National Swiss team and U17 Team Bath NPL squad.

Native Swiss Olivia has been a part of her country’s netball squad since the age of 12 and had her first national cap at the age of 13. Her first duty in the U19 squad will be at Netball Europe in March which is being held in Cardiff.

As well as her national success, Olivia has been selected for the U17 Team Bath National Performance League Squad. Olivia takes part in three training sessions a week, both onsite at Millfield and at the University of Bath, and flies back to Switzerland to train with the national squad once a month.

Lower Sixth Olivia started her Millfield journey on a sport scholarship in September 2019 and is studying Biology, Psychology and French at A Level. She hopes to study biological sciences at university whilst continuing with her netball commitments. Olivia chose to study at Millfield to further her netball career alongside her education and aspires to play in the Superleague.

She says: “It has always been a dream of mine to play for Bath since I was young, I saw an opportunity to gain experience due to the facilities and coaching here at Millfield and with the campus being close to Bath.”
