Ten Millfield and Millfield Prep pentathletes are travelling to Bali to represent Great Britain in the UIPM World Triathle/Biathle Championships.
The Championships are due to take place in Nusa Dua, Bali from 2-5 November 2023.
Millfield Year 9 athletes Hunter Krynauw, Ruby Bodman, Iona Murray and Mateo Elliot, and Millfield Prep pupils Year 8 Lois M, Eva D, Bea S, Year 7 Kruze F, Polly W and Year 6 Raffie B all gained their places for the championships following exceptional performances at qualifying events earlier this year.

Millfield athletes also gained their World Championships selection at the GB Biathle Series World Championships Qualifier at Salford Quays, Manchester in July. Year 9 students Ruby Bodman and Iona Murray placed in fourth and sixth position respectively in the U15 girls category, both qualifying for the World Biathle Championships. In the U13 girls event, Year 8 Lois M was first, Year 7 Polly W was second, Eva D was third and Bea S was sixth, while Year 7 Kruze F finished in second place in the U13 boys’ event, all qualifying for GB representation in Bali.
