Millfield Prep Equestrian Team Secure Championship Title at Prestigious National Final
Millfield Prep riders secured the championship title at a prestigious national final.
The Prep equestrian team displayed an outstanding performance in the 60cm Final at the Stoneleigh 'Just for Schools Championships'.
The team showed fantastic commitment throughout the day and maintained their position at the very top of the leader board.
Millfield Prep pupil Oliver won the championship title in the individual 60cm final at the Just for Schools Championship.
Oliver and horse Jacks Shadow competed against 16 others and showed great dedication and style.
The national finals took place earlier this month from 10-12 August 2026 at NAEC Stoneleigh Park and brought together top riders and schools from across the country.

Millfield School’s pioneering ‘Baccalaureate style’ GCSE equivalent qualification has produced top grades for students.
Millfield developed and launched the new qualification in 2024, in partnership with Pearson Qualifications, to plug the extensive gap between traditional GCSE curriculum and what employers need and want in the future workforce.

Millfield students are celebrating exceptional GCSE and BTEC results today.
A fantastic 51% of the grades received by the top 100 students were 9-8 grades, with a 100% pass rate. 49% of all BTEC results were an outstanding D*-D.

A Millfield student is celebrating exceptional A Level results after achieving three A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
For Alex Harrop, Thursday's results bring his total number of A Levels up to four, having independently achieved an A grade in Maths during his Lower Sixth year.
