Congratulations to the six Millfield Prep pupils who placed in the top 10% of their age group nationally in the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge.
Just over 241,000 pupils nationwide took part in the UK Bebras Challenge this year, with 21 Millfield Prep Year 7 pupils gaining Distinctions. Our six pupils who placed in the top 10% in the UK have been invited to participate in the TCS Oxford Computer Challenge in March 2021.
The Oxford Computing Challenge has been created by the University of Oxford and Tata Consultancy Services. It is an invitation-only event which aims to encourage pupils who have achieved a top 10% score in the UK Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge to develop their skills further and produce programmed solutions to computational thinking problems.
