Millfield Prep's First Cushion Concert of the Year

Last week, Millfield Prep hosted the first Cushion Concert of the year via YouTube Premiere.

Pupils from Years 2 to 5 gave some outstanding performances, showing a vast array of talent, dedication and enthusiasm. A wide range of instruments were played, from the piano, drums and flute to the harp, cello and french horn.

Participating pupils recorded their pieces in front of their classes, affording them a real sense of performance as well as that all important opportunity for a bow! Despite not having performed in front of an audience since March (and in some cases, having never performed in front of an audience at all) every pupil rose to the occasion wonderfully.

We feel exceptionally lucky to have such incredible musical talent in our younger years and we are hugely looking forward to hearing all the performers progress and grow in their love for music as they move through the school.
