Millfield Rugby OMs battle for home nation sides in 2021 Six Nations

Millfield Rugby has a representative in every home nations’ squad for this year’s Guinness Six Nations rugby championships.

Former Millfield students Mako Vunipola (England), Huw Jones (Scotland), Callum Sheedy (Wales) and Rhys Ruddock (Ireland) feature on the team sheets for their respective national squads for the 2021 Six Nations. The current champions are England, who won the 2020 tournament.

The Six Nations is an annual international men's rugby union competition between the teams of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales.

Millfield’s Director of Rugby is former Bath and England prop John Mallett. He is supported by a team of 18 coaches, including Mike Baxter (Bath and Scotland Sevens) as Assistant Director of Rugby.

There are a large number of Old Millfieldians who are playing and have played international rugby. Currently this includes Chris Robshaw, Harlequins and former Captain for England; England prop, Mako Vunipola; Jonathan Joseph, Bath and England; Huw Jones and Adam Hastings, Glasgow and Scotland; and Gareth Edwards of Wales and The British Lions who is an OM and our current Millfield Rugby president.
