In Athletics, Millfield athletes competed in the Welsh U20 Championships in Cardiff. Upper Sixth Bellsie Honey won gold in the 60m with a time of 7.65s. Year 11 Zoe Allen won silver in the Shot Put with a 9.92m personal best, Tom Webb won silver in the 800m with a personal best time of 1:58:02, while Ari Kasunmu was fourth in the Triple Jump with a 10.13m personal best. Year 10 Lily Jones was fourth in the Long Jump with a personal best of 10.13m.
At the England U20, U17 and U15 Championships in Sheffield, Year 11 Tom Webb ran a school record 4:00:36 in the 1500m to claim silver. Upper Sixth Rory Forbes was fourth in the 1500m with a time of 4:07:70, while Bellsie Honey was was seventh in the 60m with a time of 7.57s, after running a school record 7.55 personal best in the heats.
Upper Sixth Bellsie Honey reached the semi-finals at the Microplus UK Indoor Championships and World Indoor Trials in Birmingham with a time of 7.59s in the 60m.

In Football, the Girl's First XI progressed through their ISFA quarter-final vs Farringtons School, and now face Mount Kelly in the semi-final.
In Golf, during half term, 12 golfers headed to the Desert Springs resort in Spain, to play in the Millfield & Desert Springs European Schools Team Championships. This is an annual event, co-hosted by Millfield and is open to all schools. This was the first time the event had taken place since COVID-19, and included teams from Loretto School, Reed’s School and Whitgift School.
Good golf was played by all, with the Millfield team of Upper Sixth Maddy Beeching, Year 10 Karoline Tochtermann, Year 9 Oli Hopkins and Bradley Lock winning the Team Championship. Individually, Maddy won the Girls’ Scratch event with a gross 76 and Year 9 Jack McMeekin winning the Boys’ individual Stableford event with 42 points.
Year 11 Abbie Moore and Year 10 Ffion Lockley attended Somerset Ladies’ training. Year 9 Ashleigh Moore and Liberty Warman attended Somerset Girls’ training.
Year 11 Wills House attended some Somerset Boys’ training.
A team of Lower Sixth William Welsh, James Clemens, Year 11 Abigail Moore, Year 10 Ffion Lockley, Toby Morris and Joss Monachello beat Truro School in the Swifts Foursomes, meaning that Millfield have won the South West Group 1 and will await the winners of the South West Group 2. The winners will go through to the National Finals in June.

In Netball, The U16A team has successfully advanced to round 3 of the Sisters and Sport cup.
The U19A team secured a spot in the Sisters and Sport cup final, which will be held at Loughborough.
Year 10 Tabitha Olivier and Sloane Nicholas have been selected for Team Bath’s U15 NPL squad.
Year 11 Lois Moore represented Team Bath Junior PDP against Surrey Storm Pathway.
Upper Sixth Alice Lillie umpired at the Wales Netball Inter County Championships.

Millfield hosted their Girls Rugby Sevens Tournament, with both U18 and U16 age groups playing some fantastic rugby throughout the day. The U16 team won their event.
OM Sam Harris signed a new two-year contract with Bath Rugby and was selected for the England A squad.
Upper Sixth Steffan Emanuel, Henry Bonetti, Owen Erasmus, Alex Deering, Lower Sixth Codi Purnell and Ellis James were part of the Bath Rugby U18 side that won the Premiership Rugby U18 Academy League title.
The U15 Boys’ team will play in the National Cup semi-final against Radley College on Sunday 3 March.
Millfield students have been selected for international training camps by their respective national teams. Upper Sixth Steffan Emanuel, Lower Sixth Evan Morris and Codi Purnell have been selected by Wales U18. Upper Sixth Henry Bonetti has been called up to the Italy U18 camp. Lower Sixth Alex Duncan has been selected by Scotland U18, while Ben Morrow has selected by England U17.
Year 11 Angie Bazzoni, Evelyn Wheeler Year 10 Piran Moran, Patrick Taylor-Ross, Aston Barrington-Hibbert and Sophie Farrar were all selected for England Touch Rugby squads.
In Squash, Millfield student Amelie Haworth has clinched her fifth English Junior National Championships title. Amelie won the U19 event without dropping a set throughout the tournament. Lower Sixth Olivia Owens finished third in the same event. Both girls have been selected for the upcoming European Championships.
Millfield squash players had the fantastic opportunity to meet and train alongside OM and squash legend Marwan El Shorbagy.
Both the Key Stage 5 Mixed Team and the Key Stage 5 Boys' Team are though to the national finals on the Friday 15 March.
Upper Sixth Ayaan Vaziralli, Lower Sixth Olivia Owens, Year 10 Jonty Godfrey, Shunsaku Kariyazono and Year 9 Rayaan Vaziralli all put in fantastic performances at the German Junior Open.
