Sporting Success for Millfield Prep pupils

It has been a successful period of sport at Millfield Prep School, with pupils winning titles at county and national level. Some of the highlights include:

The cross country runners won the National Prep Schools Cross Country Finals at Malvern. Bea was also crowned National Champion individually, racing against girls a year older than her.

On Sunday 5 April, Millfield Prep school swimmers travelled to Cardiff to compete in the Arena League National Club Final. The event was incredibly exciting with Millfield and Guildford swapping places at the top of the leaderboard. It came down to the last race to decide the winner, with truly remarkable team spirit helping Millfield to go on and win the competition by only four points - one of the closest margins ever! This is an astonishing result from a school in Somerset racing against some of the biggest clubs in the country.

The fencing team brought home a number of medals from the British School Team Championships!

In Netball, both the U13 and U11 teams won their IAPS Regional Qualifiers.

Our tennis players have just returned from an incredible week at Rafael Nadal's Tennis Academy in Mallorca.

In rugby sevens, our U13 and U12 boys both won their tournaments at Port Regis. They now have their eyes set on the Millfield Prep tournament on Saturday 18 March.
