Despite the decision announced by Ofqual that Centre Assessed Grades would be awarded to students at GCSE and A Level at the eleventh hour causing further delays, most Millfield pupils are today able to celebrate an exceptional range of GCSE results. Some students are still awaiting BTEC results after last minute changes. Students were unable to sit exams this year as a result of the global coronavirus pandemic.
Millfield Pre-Prep is located next to Millfield Prep, set in 200 acres of beautiful fields and woodland near Glastonbury. From day one children are welcomed and encouraged in every way possible to ensure they feel valued as an important part of our community and reach their potential. Our experienced teachers work with small class sizes, in year only sets. We offer a broad range of subjects and activities, with spacious classrooms and a strong emphasis on outdoor learning.
We are fortunate to share excellent facilities with the Prep School, including a 25m heated indoor pool and tennis courts. Our pupils also benefit from the expertise of Millfield Prep coaches for sporting and creative activities.
Nutritious, well-balanced lunches and snacks are provided each day and children are taught about a balanced diet and learn through growing and harvesting their own produce in our garden.
Year 2 pupils at Millfield Pre-Prep have raised over £1,300 for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
Millfield Prep School’s new website has won a Platinum Award under the category ’Overall Website for an Educational institution’ in the 2020 Hermes Creative Awards, which is the highest level of achievement possible in a very competitive judging process.
