Millfield Pre-Prep pupils raise over £1,000 for Guide Dogs

Year 2 pupils at Millfield Pre-Prep have raised over £1,000 for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

The children undertook the Walk Your Socks Off Challenge, to walk 50,000 steps (20 miles) each, to raise money for the charity. Many of the children walked over 100,000 steps! The class’ goal was to raise £400, however their current fundraising total stands at £1,000.

The pupils were inspired to help after meeting Alex from Guide Dogs and his dog Homer last term, who taught them about the charity and how it helps those who are blind or partially sighted.
