Celebrating Somerset Day at Millfield Prep

Celebrating Somerset Day at Millfield Prep

Tuesday this week was Somerset Day, which gave Millfield Prep and Pre-Prep pupils a great excuse to celebrate the amazing county that we live in.

The day started with an assembly from Reverend Kitto, who talked about the unique features of the county and had a guest appearance from Mr Sweet, Head of Humanities, who talked about Somerset's rich history.

Lots of activities took place throughout the day, with Pre-Prep children enjoying cheese and apple tasting from the local dairy Barbers Cheese, wicker crown making, flag designing and learning to dance around the maypole.
