Millfield Prep pupils place in UK top 10% of Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge

Congratulations to our 14 Millfield Prep pupils, who placed in the top 10% of the country in the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge and were invited to participate in the TCS Oxford Computing Challenge.

The Oxford Computing Challenge has been created by the University of Oxford and Tata Consultancy Services. It is an invitation-only event which aims to encourage pupils who have achieved a top 10% score in the UK Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge, to develop their skills further and produce programmed solutions to computational thinking problems. Our pupils did brilliantly, with 4 pupils gaining Distinctions.

Just over 260,000 pupils nationwide took part in the UK Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge this year, with 25 of our Year 7 pupils gaining Distinctions.
