Minibus Service
Millfield has a fantastic minibus service, running across seven routes, available to get you to and from our Senior and Prep Schools. Please see our Flyer and Timetable for more information. Our current advertised routes are flexible to cater for our students’ needs, so talk to us about using this service.
The service is for children age 5 upwards (Year 1). Each minibus has a capacity for 12 passengers so early registration of interest is advised. Places are available on a first come basis. Please make bookings in advance of each term. If no spaces are available, names will be added to a waiting list. Half a term’s notice is required for withdrawing a child from the service.

Zone A (up to 3.5 miles) - £5
Zone B (3.5 to 10 miles) - £7.35
Zone C (10 miles and over) - £9.80

End of Term & Exeat Transport
By Air
The Travel Office provides a coach, minibus or taxi transfer to London or regional airports, subject to demand. Fares are according to number of travellers.
By Coach
Both the Prep and Senior Schools provide a coach or minibus service to London (Bayswater Road car park).
The Prep School service runs every exeat weekend and at the beginning and end of terms. Two members of staff accompany the pupils.
The Senior School service runs at the beginning and end of terms, half-terms and the autumn exeat weekend.
The service provides drop offs at Countess Services (Amesbury, Wiltshire), Fleet Services M3 (Hampshire) and Old Deer Park (Richmond, Surrey) (Senior only).
By Rail
At the end of half-term and the end of term, the Travel Office provides a coach/minibus service for Senior pupils only to Bristol Temple Meads Station. Fares are according to number of travellers.
