A Level and BTEC Results
With an average size of typically 300 in the Upper Sixth, Millfield has a much larger number of candidates sitting A levels, or BTECs, than that of other independent schools.
For that reason we publish results figures that reflect both our whole student cohort (an average across a wide ability range) and our Top 100 highest achieving candidates. When looking at our Top 100, the results show that this group regularly produce grades which compare well with highly selective schools.
308 Upper Sixth students took a range of 32 subjects, achieving 61% A*-B grades. Our Top 100 students celebrated with 70% achieving A*-A. Read more in our Results Day round up here.
