Millfield netballers attend England positional days

Three Millfield Team Bath Academy Development Centre (ADC) netballers have been invited to attend an England Roses Academy Positional day this month.

Upper Sixth scholar Bella Valeur Adu, Lower Sixth scholar Izzy Mackenzie and external player, Ella Williams have been nominated to attend the Roses Academy camps. All three players have recently been selected for the Team Bath U17 NPL Squad. Bella was also part of the Team Bath U19 NPL squad, with Ella also selected for the Team Bath U15 squad and will compete in the School Games early next month.

This is the second time in a year that Bella has been invited to trial for England. The wing defence/centre player rose through the netball pathway in Jersey before boarding at Millfield in Lower Sixth.

Director of Netball, Jenna Adamson said, “This is a wonderful opportunity for all three athletes to showcase their talents and continue to develop and learn in a thriving England environment.”

Bella and Izzy are attending the mid-court session and Ella is attending the shooting session. The positional days will be taking place on the 25 and 26 August at Loughborough University.
